Here we sit once more upon a precipice of change, but if you have been with us since the start, you know that change is what we do best.
Allow me to first apologize for abandoning this log yet again as I promised I would not. It is hard to maintain something when it feels as though it does not register what is intended with its existence.
Alas, I will no longer make promises I cannot keep. This is an entry long overdue and only time will tell should more be forthcoming.
The plan for now is a super-soaked Summer of Scallywag, chalk full of fresh pieces to delight & surprise!
Already previewed are three incoming designs - MF THULSA / YARGANTUAN REDUX / JAIME WICK.
As we approach the warmer months, expect new street signs, new Wavy T variants, a new signature script series and another collab with El Black Bat in our Ladies of X series.
We hope to offer a variety of other wares, such as more apparel and accessories (like flags, keychains & hats) and be sure to check the new section for our LIVE APPEARANCES now that we are no longer active on Instagram/Twitter/Facebook.

Here we are again, crew. Uncharted waters and rough seas ahead. As we endure retrograde it occured that we had not updated the log in overdue time. Many apologies, and please expect that it will not happen again until this ship officially sinks to the depths.
The Summer was a whirlwind of releases which we hope filled some must needed voids. Approaching the end of this year, we fall back into that old rhythm of familiarity, but with of course our unique twist.
Expect PART III of our ESB series with @sick_mind_pins that will send some pearlescent tones that fluster The Force.
Another time thrice in our Sins of the Father tributes with Cadaverous Carver will drop on Halloween as well in 5 total variants including an ALL WOODEN CHASER only available in sets!
Through our travels we have made bonds with warriors from other crews, and now with their tribal blessing, MIKEBONEMUSIC - along with @deathstyle_graphics will join our crew officially as we drop a fitting tribute to their visage and message in November.
Finally, on Halloween we enter the anniversary and culminate the final month of mourning to the everlasting man that is DOOM with @chingon_pinz - which comes full circle with a new variant set of DOOMVOURER OF WORLDS with @claygrahamart. You will not want to miss your favorite of what will be a grand total of 16 pins in this collective drop!!!
One last thing, we really appreciate the fact that anyone reads this far or even pays this close of attention to anything we may be trying to do here. The message we really want to send is that while there is a lot of darkness in this world, sometimes too much, sometimes overwhelming and feels like all hope is lost and there is no way out in sight, just understand that there is always light. While there may be that feeling of total darkness, there is not, for there is always light, no matter how much, it exists and that is what powers this ship and this crew.
We love you, thank you for supporting us. Thank you for tolerating our unwavering and total vulnerablity for truth, even if we realize sometimes it's just our own.

Did you feel that? The lightning?
It's an electric sensation being back in the mix of things. We have thoroughly enjoyed the frenzy of this past Spring and are eagerly as excited to get Summer underway. What do we have on tap? Let's get into that!
First up a series that began as a whimsical seed of fancy and turned out to be something that may just upend the entire Disney Fantasy pin-game. As a tribute to my beloved dog, the Sultan of Agrabah, we will be presenting a small pin and shirt capsule to kick it off entitled SCALLYWAGRABAH on June 6th.
Coming in hot after that fresh from pre-order releases in April & May we will be officially dropping our MAGIKAL! She Loves the X! collaboration with El Black Bat, as well as our WE'RE DOOM'D mash with Clay Graham Art from May 4th sometime mid-June.
Prepare to eat some slider on July the 4th as Bart slider action pins will land in late June and be ready to offend at your first post-covid BBQ in style.
Later July will bring the first of our SIREN SERIES piggybacking off of YARGANTUAN! as we visit PULP FICTION and pay yet another tribute to one of our furry companions.
Last but not even close to least we have a special tribute coming to honor the most magical and empowering figure we have virtually come to know over our time in this crazy pin world and aim to show you just how much of a Supreme Being Annie MacLeer truly is...

Pleasant greetings and salutations on the eve of this Spring season. The gentle shift in the day bearing warmth and energy is propelling us swiftly towards a mighty period of growth and we are excited to finally share the fruits of our laborious Winter.
In the coming days there will be a pin drop so intergalactic that neither the pin nor the pop-culture game will ever be the same. A collaboration so MASSIVE that it was bound to occur within the confines of our mutual nerd love with Clay Graham @claygrahamart for the one and only world-eater Galactus. That is all we will reveal for now, but his arrival is imminent and we consider the Surfer to have heralded it so.
Our Empire Strikes Back tribute series will continue in late May with Sick Mind Pins @sick_mind_pins as we will be revealing Part II of V.
The intention of these pieces will be to showcase the scenic elements which are often overshadowed by the characters and their choice of weapon/vehicle, to instead highlight the essence of set pieces in scenes of great importance to plot development and overall story itself.
The Main Generator was the only thing standing between annihilation and survival for the Rebellion. It's destruction was crucial to the capture of Skywalker for Vader. General Veers did his best to reach it in time, but in the end even it's destruction was moot when the Millennium Falcon escaped and Luke flew away to Dagobah. However, the relevance in our hearts for it's dramatic importance within the opening battle sequence will always be the most memorable thing about Hoth.
Dropping in early May will be a reunion collaboration with GhotiCzys. When we combine our powers on something it always comes out better than even we expect, so our anticipation for this one is running at an all-time high as the design concept is once we have been drooling to create for a few years now. Ghoti smashed it and in the end we came up with two variants that should bring the ruckus.
Finally, coming in early June will be a capsule collection in honor of our first mate and fluffy life-companion The Sultan (of Agrabah) who is turning 12 years old. It will consist of a limited edition pin, patch and t-shirt and will be available in a combo for those who want the full experience of
SCALLY-WAGRABAH.
At that point we will update the log again with what is coming for Summer 2021, but let's just say for now we will see a revisit to our Tarantino homage series, the first ever "diss-pin" which is sure to slide into pin history and part III & IV of our ESB tribute with Sick Mind Pins.
Thanks for traveling on this wild ride of ours. We will have a new exclusive crew badge for all orders starting in May. It will be called The Dolly and will be raised gold metal with purple hard enamel and feature glow for the first time in the logo series instead of glitter. We look forward to dropping it in to you soon.

THREE LONG YEARS HAVE PASSED...
No excuses, it had to stop and now it's time to begin again.
Coming straight out the gate with A TRIBE CALLED DOOM collaboration with The Problem Child in the wake of losing MF DOOM. We had been adrift prior to this news and in it's tumult we made amends and squashed the static, out of that reunion this piece has been birthed.
What will be a year of DOOM tributes, we have a slew of other releases on the horizon paying homage and dedicating our silly yet poignant designs and creativity to his magnanimous visage.
It's no mystery as to why DOOM had such a huge impact on our lives. Sometimes we strive so hard to be the hero, but truly deep down it is our sinister that is the good and represents the courage it takes to be a Villain, regardless of who may stand against you.
In the cut for Spring 2021, expect a collaboration from a distant galaxy, celestial in origin with a mighty appetite. The year of the OX begins today, and we plan to push right through it like a bull in a china shop.

We are excited to bring you a furious Summer of drops, starting with THE PINASHER collaboration with that man yet again, @ghoticzys! Originally designed to be 1.5" they instead came in a bit smaller than we liked at 1" and so have been pushed to be revealed for the noble masses in late June. These will come on custom designed SCALLYWAG backing cards with art done by Nick Fero (ghoticzys) and dreamed up by The Pin Pirate, along with brushed alloy matching stickers. Limited to 50 pieces TOTAL made with 15 Sunset Glitter Variants, these hard enamel beauties will be what makes your friend group understand that your pin game is NOT to be fucked with. LATE JUNE/EARLY JULY: SHRINE TO DEATH!
If you have been sleeping under a moon, you missed AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR smashing box office records and endearing Thanos in the hearts of audiences around the globe. Stemming from the 10 year long run of franchise hits from Marvel Studios, the latest installment pitted Earth's mightiest heroes, the Guardians of the Galaxy and all of Wakanda's best warriors against the fate of the inevitable. As many were consumed with this adaptation of the classic comic story INFINITY GAUNTLET, we here at Scallywag were hoping to see the best the pin game had to give us in the form of veritable tributes, alas, we were sorely disappointed when time and again, one after the other, the same fucking pin, in so many vanilla forms were released to capitalize on the film's success. Back in February we began to refresh ourselves on our old issues of INFINITY GAUNTLET to prepare our hearts and minds for the agony that would soon come. During that time, it struck us - WHY OH WHY HAS NO ONE EXPLORED THANOS' RELATIONSHIP WITH DEATH? Well, we fixed that. Cut to late May where after months of development and painstaking coordination, our SHRINE TO DEATH design hit the presses. We revealed the first variant in early June and will be aiming to unveil the alternative variant on June 15th when we drop the pre order for both pins and the sets. Set your alarms, mark your calendars and hold tight to all loose change, because this design will not sit around waiting for you to attend this pin show or that pin event. Prepare for a limited release on June 15th with a full release slated for end of June/early July. It will be balanced. It will be fair. It will be GLORIOUS. Pay tribute to the Mistress of us all, DEATH, with this originally designed homage rendered by Jacob Reidy AKA The Pin Wizard and conjured up by The Pin Pirate.
JULY: WAVE 3.1 of the WIZ LOGO SKULL PINS
Dropping with the PIZZA PIRATE SERIES were our final wave of WIZ LOGO SKULL pins - but fear not, we held back three of our favorites from that batch to really stamp the Summer season with a BANG! Prepare for the Pelagic, The Buzz and The Grog, all glittery, all limited, only available in trio sets. These will be the FINAL variants ever produced of this design, and if you have been following along and catching them all as they have come, these three are definitely the Crown Jewels of the entire run.
